Dr. Nyoki Cosey-brown
Dr. Nyoki Cosey-Brown, DSW, LCSW-BACS, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Board Approved Clinical Supervisor as credentialed by Louisiana with reciprocity licenses in Kentucky, Arizona, Nevada, New York, New Mexico, Virginia, Massachusetts, Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, New Jersey, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas.
She co-founded Innovative Approaches Counseling Center, LLP, an outpatient clinic and community resource agency, and is also the Founder of The Doctor Nyoki Network, LLC, a consulting firm. In addition, Dr. Cosey-Brown serves as the Clinical Director of Mightier Clinical Services, PLLC, a Boston-based mental health technology company that develops therapeutic games grounded in research from Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
She is recognized as a leader in mental health technology and culturally inclusive care, having focused her doctoral capstone project on diversity, equity, and inclusion within these spaces. Dr. Cosey-Brown is a proud graduate of the SUNO BSW and MSW programs and earned her Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Kentucky, where she now serves as an adjunct professor.
